Bono is looking a little tired. I hope he goes home to relax with the family for the holidays!
This photo is from a press conference announcing that Nike has joined the Product Red Line.
The other guy in the photo? Didier Drogba. He plays for Chelsea. My brothers were not happy to see him as one is a Man United supporter and the other one supports Liverpool.
It's funny that this week my brothers have cooked/baked more than me.
On Sunday during football my brother Joe baked up some yummy cupcakes. He wanted evidence to show his friends on FB so I took a photo! : )
Tonight, my brother Billy who I refer to as PITA (pain in the arse) baked chocolate chip cookies, yes they were frozen but still !!!! They came out yummy!
My last project at uni was to create book covers for Alice in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll) and Perfume (Patrick Suskind) for the 2009 Penguin Design Award. Two book covers in two weeks is a lot of work but I got it done, albeit with some blood (got to watch those craft knives) and tears.
Here's my final cover for Alice, which my second and third year tutor selected as one of their two favourites out of the year (who knows why).
Here's a discarded idea for Alice that had quite liked.
It's Week 12 of the NFL season. How's your team faring?
Ohhh no! The Patriots are getting clobbered tonight! UGH!!!!!
Tom Brady does not look happy.
My high school reunion was last night. Don't make me say how many years.
I haven't gone to any of my high school reunions. I had a few close friends during those years and we have pretty much drifted apart.
With the magic of Facebook a few (2) people from HS have found me and I accepted their friendship. Since then about 10 have found me and attempted to friend me, but I have left their requests pending. I want to just ignore, but feel that would be too mean? Hmmmm.
I did get notes from the 2 that found me asking if I was going to the reunion. One girl was even flying in from Florida to attend! I live a mile from where the reunion was held and I could NOT do it.
So, photos were uploaded and shared on FB today. Curiosity of course made me look through about 100 of them. Luckily they were tagged with who the people were because I only recognized about FIVE people.
As I looked through the pictures I kept thinking two things:
1) Who are all these old people??
2) Where would I have been in that room if I had gone? For the life of me I couldn't envision myself going back. So many people say that High School was the happiest and best time of their life. It was just miserable and full of sadness for me, so why would I ever want to revisit or celebrate that??!
OK, letting it go...NOW~
